What is the business membership?
DCC Professional Group “Business Members” support the mission and work of Donor Conceived Community by purchasing a membership for their team to access the professional learning resources of our community. Our goal is for organizational leaders and staff to learn about the perspectives of donor-conceived people and emerging best practices. Member businesses get access to the member benefits/portal, as well as custom training, panels, and resources. We also proactively escalate issues or concerns brought to us by members of our community.
Note: When applying for a business membership, businesses affirm they are in good standing with applicable state and federal regulations, licensing divisions and applicable professional licensing and credentialing bodies, and commit to not using inaccurate, misleading, or coercive information in their advertising practices. DCC supports the development of better DCP centered practices and industry regulation. There is currently no regulatory body that tracks the reporting of practices that most impact donor conceived people. The DCC membership badge should not be used to imply endorsement of a business by DCC, or their adherence to laws, best practices, policies or guidelines.
Intended Parents & Donors: Colorado’s new Protections For Donor-conceived Persons And Families Act provides requirements that certain banks, clinics, and agencies entities must adhere to, including the availability of donor identity and family medical information to the donor-conceived person, education for intended parents and donors, legal family limits, storing of medical, and birth reporting. Entities subject to regulation must obtain a license by July 1, 2025. For more information about provider licensing, go here.

Please Note: Our professional members have not been screened or required to meet any criteria other than to be current professional members of DCC Professionals and to have paid a fee for membership and access to educational resources. Therefore, a badge, membership, or listing should not in any way be considered endorsements or recommendations, either express or implied, by Donor Conceived Community.
